Trans-racial adoption debate rages: While the rhetoric has softened in recent years, those who prefer race-matching argue that white families cannot provide minority children all the racial and cultural supports that same-race families can.

What a sad but accurate testimony to the state of racism and that it also originates from the minority viewpoint. Can't say much else because someone might get their self-esteem hurt, which is of course the most important thing we must protect. Forget about educating and providing a life for the child... we need to make sure the child FEELS good. Maybe racism could substantially subside by providing education - not just pop-psychology or whatever comes from Dr. Phil...
